Default Surging with base tune, tune the main issue? *Video Inside*

Just got my swap done into my 93 coupe and had a base tune thrown in the computer to get me up to the shop for a full dynotune.

Mods:

02 ls1/t56 with 49k miles
Mcleod twin disk
EPS 234/246 cam
Melling HV pump
SLP u/d
Kooks 1 3/4 into 3" true duals
Metco oil cap breather
Stock PCV system
Descreened stock maf
stock TB

I am getting a surging when i drive and then push in the clutch to either shift or come to a stop. It starts and idles perfectly fine it only happens when I am driving. I have no SES light, i have checked and rechecked for vacuum leaks and I cant find anything. Im 95% sure it just needs a full tune which is scheduled for friday morning but I just wanna make sure its nothing else i can fix before I drive it up. Thanks for the help and sorry for the crappy iphone video while driving.

The cam/tune
My cam is smaller than yours but I had the same issues. Get your tuner to spend some time with the car

Yea that was the plan from the get go, i head up friday for a full tune. Just figured with a swap like this I wanted to make sure I didnt overlook anything I can fix before I take it up. Im sure once I get up there itll be 110%.

sounds like its hunting.it will be ok onced tuned.base map is literally enough to get ya where your going...cant go more than half throttle sometimes depending on the mods that were done till its been fully dynotuned then go for another driveability test.

More than likely a tuning/fueling issue. What made you decide to run a breather and the pcv system? I though if you were running a breather you cap the pcv and vise versa?

Bought the mOtor and it didn't have an oil cap, so instead of spending 20 on a new cap I picked up a new metro for 30 shipped. I should have switched to the ls6 pcv but I was trying to stay on budget.
