Default Finally got a GTO

Well after a long wait i finally got a gto im very happy with it and cant wait to start modding it

I did completely opposite. Suspension, long tubes, shifter, and last TQV3 :-D

Yes - they are horrible. No comparison to a f-body Hurst. That's why GTOSE said it's the first must-do mod.

Just wondering, what's the curb weight on the 2004 GTO and the curb weight on the '98-'02 Camaros? People are saying the F-bodies run slightly faster 1/4 mile times than the LS1 equipped GTO's.

That's a bit more than the F-body. I think the F-body Camaros are anywhere from 3,400 in a hard top to up to 3,600 in a convertible. Bet the GTO rides a lot better though.

I researched this once years ago and forget the spread except that the heaviest F-body, Trans Am convertible with auto is about 100lb lighter than the GTO.
