Default Racing seat harnesses for stock seats??

Hey guys I have an 02 SS with stock seats and no rear seats. I wanted to know if it was possible to set up some racing harnesses for our stock seats. Is it possible? If so what kind of harnesses and where can I get them? Besides the racing seat harnesses is there anything else I need to make this work? Let me know thanks

The picture on 6les site is MY car . I was the test mule. I have since added a 6pt wolfe rollbar. Once the bar is installed and the harness in on and tight it holds your **** down pretty good.

those arent stock seats. the OP has stock seats and asked what he could do with them.

if you want to keep the stock seats, the best thing would be to get a CG lock.

http://www.cg-lock.com/index.html

using any kind of 4/5pt without a proper seat could cause more harm then good. unless you get an H-harness, there is nothing to keep the shoulder straps from simply falling your shoulders, no matter how tight you make them.

a CG lock gives you almost all of the hold that a proper harness does, for far less money, and is safer then improperly using a harness.

Check out Angel Pads. They're made by Angelwings Tech (www.angelwingstech.com). They give you great lateral support with stock seats.

I personally would do better seats before I would add the harness bar... Just WAY more comfortable and will hold you in well...

Schroth makes a deal that hooks into your lapbelt and has shoulder harness with it. Saw one at the track looks like a cool setup.

Schroth is the only ones I've seen designed for oem seats. The clips that you add to your oem seat belts are nothing but trouble.

where would the scroth harnesses attach to in a car without a cage? The only place I could think of that would have near correct geometry would be the baby seat anchors?
