okay so i swap my 2.73 gears for 32.3's they run great , a lot quiker off the line, (p.s im driving a 96 firebird formula with a 4 speed auto.) but anyway my new problem is i havent got a tune to reset the MPH, but when i hit 98 mph (for now i read my MPH off my gps), but when i hit 98 mph it stalls out and lets off the gas like im over reving it , but it says its only and 3000 rpm when that happens , im so confused whats wrong with it ???

Get it tuned for the gears, and while your at it increase the speed limiter.

Sounds like the speedlimiter is stopping you.

Sounds like you had the non-Z tire limiter of 110 or 115. At 98 the car thinks you are going faster because of the gears and gives you fuel cut-off.

speed limiter huh, where and how would i fix this problem?? money isent an issue, i just need info, cuz i wud sure like to get this fixed , thanks!

Does your speedo only go to 115? Like already stated it seems like you're hitting the speed limiter.
