Default Guaging Interest: DFW LS Swap Meet

Would any LS members be interested in a DFW Swap Meet? You can bring your items to try to sell or you and some friends can stop by and maybe find good deals on some parts. Would anyone be interested once the weather has cooled down or "No" due to the bad economy right now?

It depends on location and also if you have to pay to set up a table. I can understand maybe charging to get in like $5 or something to get money for the event.

I like this idea, but I live in the H-Town area, so just some input.

Thumbs up

I am thinking a large parking lot or area probably in Arlington since we will organize it and also charge No Fee for attendees & friends but charge each that rents a space/table $10-$20. At large LS Events normally these would cost $50-$200 depending on the size, etc. I also thought about burgers/hot dogs to be included in the costs. Sometime in September would be ideal since "by then" it should cool down and also give people time to plan.

I would LOVE to do this, maybe then I could find some parts for my bird I'm having trouble finding, or maybe even a decent LQ4 shortblock/longblock
