swapping out gears

Question swapping out gears

i have a '00 ws6 and want to take out the stock gears and put in 3.73 gears does anyone know what else i would need to do and how much it would cost srry if this is the wrong forum i am new to this site

I always use Ratech rebuild kits and have had good success......moving to Gears section.

You will need a new crush sleeve, new inner and out pinion bearings. Go ahead and do the front pinion seal. Are you doing the install yourself?

no i just wanted to pick and choose the parts myself i dont have the tools to shim the gears
