Default Opti and high RPM miss/hesitation?

Guys,

I've scowered over all the threads here and I'm looking for some more advise. Here is what is going on:

I am having a hesitation/miss that is showing up on my driverside bank as it is going lean at WOT. O2 mv's start to plummit at high RPM and prevelant on a WB as well (just on the left bank). Now here's what I've checked:

Delteq Removed (100% opti now)
New Plugs (gapped at .040)
New Wires (msd 8.5 and all om'd out around 100)
New injectors - professionally cleaned and flow tested 1 month ago
New Fuel Filter
New racetroix pump with hotwire kit (pressure is steady at WOT)
New FPR and it checks out as well
Very small exhaust leak at slip fit primary (#1) on driverside - don't think this would effect much at WOT as idle she's fine on BLM/O2 mv and that is where it should be more prevelent due to reversion (large cam).
New MSD coil
New ICM
All connections fully seated including new Opti harness
No Vac leaks (checked with propane and carb/brake cleaner and MAP values look good)
Valve train is good - no loose rockers and they are adjusted properly.

Now I want to clarify that I'm not seeing a huge miss or drop in power, only a hesitation at when getting back on it after shifting from 2-3 (M6) like a fuel cut or rev limited. The only reason I think it's a miss is at the same time that bank is reading lean and that tell's me I might be loosing spark on some of those cylinders at high rpm.

I'm going to pull the Opti this weekend and crack her open for an inspection. What should I be looking for?

Loose rotor?
Carbon traces?
Dirty Optical Sensor?
Coorosion?
Bering play?

Do these symptoms sound like opti or should I be looking else where? Any advice is greatly apprecaited.

It's always the damn opti....this is an lt1 you know Resolution: LS motor swap

In all seriousness, my car had the same issue...misfire right around 5200 RPM no matter what the tuner did when it was dyno tuned. POS opti to blame as usual

Wow with the exception of one bank going lean at WOT and the hesitation after shifting I've been chasing the same problem for over a year! Mine does it between 5800 and 6400.

Thx guys, I'm getting an MSD opti and going from there. I'll be pulling the old one this weekend to see how she looks. The lean condition and the miss go hand in hand as when you have a miss you will have more O2 in there and the sensors will p/u the extra O2 and read lean. Pretty sure this is my issue.

Please post what you find, too many threads never have a solution to the problem!

I just had the same problem.. Missing hard at ~5k RPM and even sometimes down low around 3K. Popped in a GM opti and I have been pulling to 6600 RPM all morning!!!
