Default I might just make the Shootout

Well im fighting time to get my 3 z28's ready for the shootout, but its starting to look very good for at least one of them. My 95 z28 is about 90% done and im about to start tuning it after i have the front end aligned and oil changed. I went out and bought all new BMR tube front end,Tie rods, calipers and rotors. Here is a little walk around and rev it was raining out so i could not drive it.

That's the plan quick. Im also buying an SLR camcorder to make a digital book of the event this year and possibly the lsx shoot out as well. My hole family is very excited to be coming out this year and would like to share the experiance with anyone who might miss out. We are HARDCORE Camaro and corvette family and want to do what we can to spread the word

Jealous.....but there's still hope for me yet.

I'm still going to make an attempt at getting the car ready, but there's other variables involved too, most of which are out of my control.

If I can't make it, then I will be waiting on that video.

Not rich my any means, I have be into camaros and vetted since I could remember and I just live the fast life. I wake up and go to sleep thinking about hot rods. Without events like this I would go crazy.

Quick our stable includes 95 z28 pictured above, 93 z28, 96 z28 98 Vette vert, 08 TBSS ,78 can am Vette 1 of 300. So were pretty much alway busy working on somehing over here. Im very eager to bring at least one good running car to compete with. If not im fine with waiting another year but I will be there regardless and we will be making a video of some sort. Looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great time.

My Can Am has about 18K miles on it and the (House of Kolors) candy apple brandywine paint job is 31 years old!!!! Never been on a trailer. Built to be driven. It was the first one built outside of Ralph Ecklers shop in NY.

This car was owned by my father in 1978 when it was brand new, and had the conversion done, this is a hatch style rear in the back. he sold it when i was a little guy and we looked for it for years. We tracked it down and traded 2 vettes for this one, a 1985 z51 greenwood and a 1987 greenwood for the car. The car had sat in a garage for many years but taken care of very well. Once we got it i changed all the hoses and belts, fluids and even tires, plugs and wires and she fired right up. I now use this for very limited vette show's so others can enjoy the car.

Note this is not at my house and that is not my saturn!

Nah I've never made it out there. One day I will though. I want to get Ralph Eckler and John Greenwood to sign my glovebox. Btw, check out makoshark2.com. They have a section just for can am's and other wide bodies...

Eklers is about 5 mins away from my house. I see they have a couple warehouses and quite a fancy headquarters building they must do more racing stuff then anything because the area around here is dead with the space shuttle program going bye bye
