Default Interior CONSOLE Conversion 93-97 to 98-02 Manual??/ Easy???

I am looking to upgrade my center console on my 1993 trans am Manual to a 98-02 Trans Am center consile as mine is all loose, cracked, and beat up. I was looking at them and are similar accept the newer one has a due bolt mount up front. Do the 98-02 work with the 1993-07 car is what I need to know. Anybody do an upgrade or recommend anything??? Thanks!

I swapped my 93 auto for a 00 console - besides a little plastic alignment pin that had to be shaved down under the ash tray, they swapped right out
