alright so i have an 06 A4 GTO and im working on getting a cam, stall, and my heads port and polished. ive figured out what cam im going to do. ed curtis has that figured out and he was telling me about the heads being ported and polished, says he offers CNC 243 port and polished heads, but since the gto's already come with 243 heads wouldnt just be the same as just getting mine port and polished or is it better if i go with his CNC ported heads??

The only thing I would offer is the accuracy of the CNC to the hand of man. Ed does more than port and polish and I am sure you would be happy with the Cnc 243's.

You can sell you stock heads when you're done to recoup some of the expanse. Ed does fantastic work.

oh i know he does great work. just didnt know if it would be worth spending the 300 or 400 extra on getting his heads. i could send him mine but im trying to keep the expenses below $5000 on this one. its already going to be around $3400 just for the parts and tune, and figure another grand for installation at the minimum

id trust ed and his advise. maybe he would be intrested in your stock heads as a core exchange or something
