I'm making 335 right now to the wheels with the mods in my sig, basically full bolt ons.
Without doing heads, what will I need to make 400? I have an underdrive pulley waiting to go on, and I know I'll need a camshaft. Just not sure really what to look for, this will be going on the same time as a 3600 stall

Yeah, a nice cam like 228r and an underdrive pulley will add another 45ish whp, but with that set up you will easily be in the 11's with some good tires. What's the DA where you live? If you are close to sea level you may be able to hit high 11's with just bolt ons/ stall/ and tires.

Who cares about peak dyno numbers.
Here's mine peaking at 394 rwhp with "gentleman's cam" and headers & boltons etc w/stock 241 heads.

knight.. if you check out this thread:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...rst-timer.html
you'll see I'm already having issues with whats on there, all of my mods (full bolt ons) is only making 334 through my a4 with 2.73's I raced up in new hampshire and the DA that day was right around 1500 and I think its around 100' above sea level
I was only getting 13.5 at around 105..
I really want to hit 400 before heads, it be bigger throttle body and intake plus a decent aggresive cam and underdrive to do it.

Interesting, maybe I"m just comparing my car to the "freak" cars out there. Im curious how you got the 13.2 with a slower 60ft time, what gear did you finish the quarter in? 4th im going to assume?
I've always heard the Auto's were faster comparibly to m6's, you have the 3.42's correct?

Put a pretty big cam in it and you shouldn't have a problem getting 400rwhp.
I used a 228/232 cam and had the stock LS6 heads ported on my Z06 and added a few boltons and got 440/400 on a 95 degree day.

My car is a monster after I get grip, hence my high 113mph and a few 114's when it got dark and cooled down. I was running at sea level in Sacramento and got the 114mph at almost midnight. Yes I have 3.42's and finish in 4th gear.
When I'm at the track I use hard sidewalled street tires.
I spin through 1st, slam it into second and spin about half way through second and it finally digs in and starts pulling hard, then chirp into third.
I was also deweighted. I took out my spare tire/ jack/ back seats/ and front passenger seat and ran at less than an 1/8th tank of gas. I also only weight 155lbs. Auto's are faster at the track, i wish I could pull 1.6 60ft but even with DR's I'll probably be lucky to get a 1.8

That's interesting 114 is definitely a nice trap speed for what you have.
as far as weight here i've got the jack and tire gone, and I'll also be taking out my AC before i go next week since I haven't used it in over a year. (clutch is broken) I plan on running around 1/4 tank and the addition of a panhard bar, which shouldn't really make much of a difference ha.
So far nobody's been able to chime up, but what do you guys run for air pressure on street tires? I have the nitto 555ZR's
