Default PCM I.d. ?

How do I find out what year PCM I have? I picked up one along with some random parts and was told it was either a 95 or 96.. Are there any identifying numbers to look for or? It has a lable with bar code it has 4 separate ports to plug the harness connections into it..

There should be a service number on it.
