lq4 truck harness questions Hi, i have a lq4 truck harness with a th350 trans and was wondering whats the easiest way to get this to be a working standalone harness. Can i just hook up the sensors i want to keep and tuck the ones i don't want to the side. I'm not sure what to do with this fuse plug block (see pic attached) i read somewhere that you take all the red wires together and that goes to a switched power, all the pink to constant power and tie all blacks to ground. What about the rest of those wires and also what about the obdII plug to access the ecu?

If wiring does not scare you, here is what you do. It works out best if you have the engine on a engine stand. Plug in all the sensors you want. the ones you dont want check a schematic and remove them from the picture. the computer plugs come apart, easy to remove/reinsert the pins. Use zip ties to reroute the wiring. now would be a good place to locate the computer where you want it. Lengthen/shorten wires to connect to the computer. Be sure to solder, and heat shrink all connections. I used http://www.lt1swap.com/ plus I downloaded a printout of my harness. Here is what to expect.
You will have wires left over that you removed, the nice thing is you can use this wire to extend wires to get the length you need. What I did on the wires that were to short was to cut the end off, keeping the correct color at the computer, add wire, so whatever you are looking at the colors are correct at the ends on the harness.

Yeah, i did the same as the above method just with a "Hidden" mentaility...

I have been debating and researching how to do it, that hidden look is one of the cleanest set ups I have seen, have any additional photos or how to write ups on how you did that?
