Default So when winter comes around....

Instead of swapping out thermostats like I hear of people doing can I just have my fans set to come back on at stock temps rather than the temps w/ the 160 stat?

the 160 thermo wont hurt anything, if anything i would have the fans come on a little sooner than later.

Yeah ^ already tuned to come on sooner runs cool. Just seems it would be easier to get them tuned for stock temps so I'll actually have heat.

Your heater core could be clogged. I have 160 and fans turn on early and my heat works great for the 1 day a year in here Florida we need it.lol might be worth trying to flush the core is a very common issue

Well, everybody says the thermostat is worthless without the tune, so one can only assume that if you changed the fan temps it would behave like stock. Unless of course there's more to it than they want you to think.

As mentioned, flush or replace your heater core. I get strong heat when the coolant is anywhere warmer than 100 degrees with my shiny new heater core.
