i painted my coil packs for the fun of it. and when i returned everything i started the car and it started poping like a gun was going off. the only thing i think i may have done is swapped the wiring to the harnesses that goes to the coils. Other than that i dont think that the position of the coils matters. i already checked the wires and theyre all ok. so it seems.

your sprak plug wires are not connected fully or you messed up the wiring. Not sure on the wiring though its pretty hard to mess that up unless you tore your bundles up to clean things up a bit. The driver and passenger side harnesses are interchangeable.

im not too sure the wiring is messed up cause all i did was remove it and put it back on. if any spark plug wire is loose it may be the back passenger so ill check that. cool thanks
