ZR1 Vs Delilah

ZR1 Vs Delilah 08/12/11
Last night we were working on my new meth setup and switching to a SD tune. The owner of the shop who was helping me with the SD tune said he has a customer with ZR1 and that he planned on going to the track. I said I am game since you need to work on the tune anyways. Well we never got the tune right and the car was sluggish but boy was the Zr1 surprised as was everyone at the track. He never had a chance however since he was on street tires and couldnt hook very well. Opening pass we line up and peoples jaws drop as they see Delilah doing a Jon Force burnout lol. The were even more shocked to see the 10sec pass go up at the light and it was not on the zr1 side. We raced another time and Delilah went 10.82 to the ZR1 11.6x.....I was shocked to see it actually trapping a mile and hour or so lower then me. I assumed with the weight difference that it would be a couple of mph over me. My car on the SD tune still needs alot of work. I was down 3mph over the MAF tune and we were spraying meth. We have lot left in her.
PS.
I am dropping to a 2.8 pulley from the 3.2 and going back to the maf tune since our maf is non pressurized. I am expecting a 10.4/10.5 pass out of her.

That's pretty cool and believable 
. Although this doesn't seem like the right section 
. Keep in mind that Zr1 isn't exactly setup the way you are, and with a few pieces to help it hook and launch things would improve a LOT for it. Still pretty cool to beat one I bet.

Oh he wants revenge lol. He said he will have Drag Radials next time....but little does he know I will go from a 3.2 pulley to a 2.8 and half the meth tune added. Should be pretty sick 
I got to the track at 11:30 and the cars tune was pretty off since we were experimenting with SD. I was down 3mph and the car felt sluggish. I had a video camera with me but we were doing all we could just to get a couple of runs in. Funny thing is all three passes I made that night super heat soaked was against the ZR1 lol....I won 2 out of 3......only reason I lost number 3 is because I let out at the 330 because my secondary pump did not come on.
