Cadillac CTS-V - Can't seem to get more than 0.80 G's on a left hand turn...MY NERVES??

Okay as the title reads I can't seem to get the car to pull more than .80 in a left hand curve...There was once right after I bought the car that I had the G Meter reading .96 on both sides. The bad part is that I don't know where and when I was able to pull these #s. There are some REALLY good winding roads around the house and I currently have .98 from a right hander and just don't know if it's the car of if it's my lack of nerve to pull a turn that hard to the left for some reason. It just feels like the car seems a bit more unstable when pulling to the left and has actually slid pretty hard...Close to losing it a time or two. Any input?

Well, usually the crown of the road sucks for a left hand turn.

It's also a lot easier to pull more g's making a tight 90* turn on the road.

Get set in the seat right, feed the wheel in with your right hand, keep your head level and look ahead.

Watch that Top Gear review about the V1.
Jeremy Clarkson sliding around a corner and the G meter is about 1.26g.

I have to admit that the tires are the majority of my lack of nerve. They are "okay" but they aren't meant for pulling a full g anyway LOL. It's just amazing to me that I can get the balls up to pull so much harder the other direction.

Pratice, pratice, pratice. Seize every oporturnity to drive as hard as the situation allows for.

Find a good fast left hander and try different lines.

I am driving on Bridgestone RE01R s and can easily go .98 the tires just start talking at that g level. I havent gone any further yet on these tires.

The Toyo proxies saw up to 1.22. And honestly felt firmer (more feed back) than these Bridgestones. In the defense of the Bridgestones they are super comfy tires low noise and softer road manners.

I think I am going to try some Yokohamas 008s next.

Peace.

I'm at 1.08 on right, and .96 on left. That was the 2nd week I had the car : ) I haven't even beat on the thing yet.
