96 silver ws6 wheels
got my self a set of silver ws6 wheels for a pretty good price.. i have seen many threads of stripping and polishing ws6 wheels.. my question is can i do the same to my silver ws6 wheels?..i know the lip is polished..thanks

I wish my 97-01 ws6s were in better shape and i would just trade you. Ive been looking for a set of those to go back stock. Also not sure about polishing them as ive read someone stripped and polished a set of 16 inch silver trans am wheels and they said it took forever to polish the wheels as the aluminum was nowhere near good enough and he did that kind of stuff for a living. I dont know if those wheels are like that or if they are going to be just simple polish job once the silver is off.

Haha are you refering to the grand sport also known as chevron stripes? Actually they were used in 60s and 70s trans am racing to differentiate team mate cars because the sponsor would have two or three cars painted the same besides the number and they put different stripes on to tell them apart on the track and in the pits. But they are gone now. I have blackbirds and blackbird wingtips i just havent updated my sig pic lol. You can see my current setup in appearance and detailing under red blackbird wingtips.
