5.3 vortec to 383? Is it possible to bore out a 5.3 iron block to 3.902, and use a 4inch crank? (LS1 stroker kit) Has anyone done this? Just bench racin it now, wondered if its feasible.

yes, this is exactly what I am doing right now.
The cost to machine the bore on the 5.3 is about $300.
If you found a REALLY GOOD deal on a LQ4, then it might be worth it to just spring for the LQ4.
