how to change C6 to cable operated gas pedal? wanting to do a 4500 accufab throttle body on my c6 Z06. how do you swap from the drive by wire gas pedal to something cable? surely someone makes something?
I see lokar makes cables and brackets for on the TB . But what about the gas pedal?

You will want to research how that affects your computer. They have measures for the throttle position, rpm, and the torque management. (The C5's have a TAC module, not sure what the C6 has.) These things affect the air fuel mixture, and cruise control among other things. You will also have to run the cable through the firewall, which will be a major PITA. Good Luck.

That sounds easy enough.But just wondering why would you want to go with a cable.Isn't the drive by wire better?Just wondering because I'm trying to figure which one to go with on my ls1 swap.
