Default Single plane with spray bars? Who has it?

Just looking for anyone who has some experience with a single plane and Daves custom spray bars. Car is just about done and I want to see how you like I and how it performs.

Works really well, I think Nitrous Outlets drag radial camaro even has a spray bar on it. I am sending my new intake to them to get a spray bar in it as soon as it comes in.

Im suprised you have not had any good responces here. There are a good number of people on this site with our spray bars. So I will bump this to see if you can get some customer feed back...

I have personaly used them in my own cars and the car I am about to start tuning has them as well.

Ok, I gota ask why not use a plate or dp? Whats the advantages or disadvantages of a spray bar over the plate and direct port set ups?

Plates aren't big enough and i already have a DP Spray bars in the intake keep from adding another 1/2 inch to the overall height of your setup as well. Dave says they flow the system after installing the bars as well. I want to hit the motor with 100-150 on the bars out of the hole and then go to the 300 from the direct port.

A directport is always the best option for larger horse power levels. With the directport you can make sure you are delivering the same amount to each runner. You also have the ability of individual cylinder tuning.

With our spray bars we are able to put the discharge point down in the intake plenum. As a result we are able to minipulate the distribution pattern to each cylinder better than we would be able to using a plate bolted up top.

Spark plugs are what tell you if something works our not. Our custom spray bars work very well.

I have no doubt about the N2O distribution. My concerns are about the fuel distribution . This will be run with 58lbs of fuel pressure.

Could you do a dry spray bar setup in a fast 102 manifold?

The bars work great and hit hard. They work so good I am doing them on my new motor.

I am going with a Nitrous Pro flow single spray bar plate. as I run a 4500 TB, they make a nice 4150 to 4500 adapter with the bars built into the adapter. I just got it today from the UPS man, and going to be installing for LSFest.

So I cant say for sure how it works, but My engine builder have had several cars do very well with this style plate...

I am also going to be pulling off the rails, using a bypass style regulator to get the pressure down to 7lbs so we can get the tune spot on. seemed kinda hard to make small adjustments on my other car with 58lbs of fuel pressure, or it could of been the style of the nitrous kit, but not for sure...

Think thats my intake Dave posted. Still havent tested it since Im still waiting on my short block to come back but Ill post up once I get it together. Cant wait to try it out.

Works great with high or low pressure fuel pressure.

We do our spraybars different ways for different intakes. We have a method we know works after years of R&D, racing and tuning.

How much can you spray throught this set-up? When I send the intake to Nitrous Outlet what's the turn around time? Are jets included with this install?

The one I have in my Super Vic is designed to flow up to a 300hp shot. I'm still not done wiring it up, so I don't know how it will do on my car.

Dave or Graham,

Can I use the spraybar as a dry shot and just not use the fuel bar?

It depends on how we set it up. The normal is 50-300. We have had a few customers have us set them up to spray 500.

Our normal turn around time is around two weeks. However it depends on how many intakes arrive before yours.

We can do just the spray bars and provide the jets or we can provide the complete system.
