Sorry no time to search. Need to get this done prior to dropping off car for tuning in the am. I have an fbody pan and truck #ipstick. Will it work? What length is the fbody stick past the flang? How far past the end does the rod stick out past the end?

Best I could is is that the tube is 21 7/8" and the stick is 26" to the full mark.

To check, I would just fill the oil to the required capacity and then check the marks... But I would best to just pickup/buy the correct tube and stick.

decided im just going to use the stick to plug the hole for now. Slowhawk should know how much oil to put in anyways.

Just take 6 qt, fill the filter, then put the rest in the crank case. .start it up and let the oil warm up.. Shut it down. wait a few min and then check the level and mark it.

just cut the stick so that it doesn't bottom out and mark it. You and someone else is asking the same question.
