Soft clutch pedal?

So i was driving home yesterday and lost all pressure in my clutch pedal...thoughts on what this could be? My first guess was either low fluid/ ruptured hydraulic line or broken cluctch cable...any thoughts?

low to no fluid, air in system, broken cable, bad slave, etc.
