Shifter cable help!!! I did an LS swap into a 95 T/A using a 99 ls1 and ls 4l60 it seems my Lt1 shifter cable is to short. Does anyone know if I just need a shifter cable for the Ls trans or do I need a new shifter also.

well I checked with another ls1 t/a and the cable is the same and the shifter lever is the same and the cable bracket is the same and it still doesn't work so I'm led to believe the shifter is different anybody have any info?
