Default Shifter cable help!!!

I did an LS swap into a 95 T/A using a 99 ls1 and ls 4l60 it seems my Lt1 shifter cable is to short. Does anyone know if I just need a shifter cable for the Ls trans or do I need a new shifter also.

When I swapped my '95 to a LS/Auto the stock Shifter & Cable worked fine..

You have it in the right gear?

well I checked with another ls1 t/a and the cable is the same and the shifter lever is the same and the cable bracket is the same and it still doesn't work so I'm led to believe the shifter is different anybody have any info?

I dont see how it could be..all the 4L60E's are the same..

fixed it the lever on the trans has multiple positions and it needed adjusting

funny, the bracket is worn out and doesn't locate where its supposed to.
