Just as the tiltle says... Its in a 70 camaro with a t56. 99 and up wiring harness. I was wondering what sensor controls the tach? Is it the reluctor wheel? Thanks guys

Where are you picking up the tach signal? I had to use a pull up resistor with my Autometer tach for it to even work. You may need one to stabilize the tach needle.

Im picking up the tach signal from a wire coming directly from a PSI Wiring harness. I'll check this pull up resistor thing thanks!

Not sure if I'm misunderstanding the trouble. Does the engine stumble AND the tach flutters, or is it only the tach fluttering (and making the engine look like its' stumbling)?

If it's only the tach that's misbehaving, here is the tach ckt remedy, courtesy of FastKat-after you redirect to this thread, scroll down about 75% http://www.buyrcars.com/jag.htm
