Default Worth it?

Would it be worth the $ for me to upgrade to say a tsp 100mm maf and 104mm lid? I got the ported Fast 90 and NW90 tb but everything in front of that is 75mm. Or would an 85mm be fine? I am gettin a tune for the intake and tb anyways so that is not a factor. Would I gain 10hp? Anyone with any results from a similar swap? Car puts down 447hp and 428tq right now.

I'm no expert and I know someone else will chim in but if your 75 mm lid is in frot of something then to me there's only 75mm of air going through that 90/90 combo...

If your car is already tuned I would just leave it. Those are good numbers.

there is a fast 102mm intake thread floating around here somewhere that might help you decide. Basically in that thread it talks about not needing the triple digit openings because the stock maf can handle something like 500 ponies (not sure though look it up, just being lazy right now). I am in the future putting a fast 102/lsxr intake mani and will be putting the ftp 104 lid and 100mm maf though. Gains might be minimal but i guess it's more of a psychological thing for me (bigger is better! lol).
