Default SBC+Spray 240z Vs Single Turbo 2JZ+Spray 280z
Just got done editing this video for one of my buddies... Local money run between a Datsun 240z with a SBC+2stage 500shot+PG and a '78 Datsun 280z with a big turbo 2JZ+Spray+C4... 2JZ car made 800+whp and ran high 8s @ 160+

Agreed run was 80-160, both went a little further....

wow that's some insane speed right there. Looks like the ole' SBC won out easily though.

Yea, thats a pretty nasty small block in that 240. Got one down here thats been sitting a while i have my eye on thats gonna be used for the same purpose.

Great idea to be racing to 180mph with old cars in the lanes immediately next to traffic...

op you can tell your friend he is a bonehead , this is why we run early sat am, there is no one out . sick cars but all it takes is a lane change from someone not looking for a car coming up behind them at over 170 mph,good runs ,bad location

Theres a 240Z down here with a built RB26DETT making around 680WHP and weighing like 2400lbs...sick fast car.

That is the 2JZ car's race, the red one will be doing a dig with a 1g DSM soon. Been raining everyday down here...
