Default 86 TA Finally painted

Finished it yesterday, so new 5.3 with a cam, TH400 and stall, new paint, it is really coming together. The wife didnt know i painted it and was totally shocked at how nice it looks now, so she loves me a bit more i think:

Then i added a firehawk emblem i had laying around for a few years:

Nowhere near perfect or a show car, just a daily driver that will be getting track abuse. It is the wifes daily and just another toy for me to tinker and beat on.

getting harder to find these on the road, especially like this. A set of wheels and a 4th gen spoiler and the exterior will be set.

Here is a engine pic for those who have not seen it:

Youre gettin real good at painting. That paint brand looks real good for single stage. I thought it was cleared also. I know some clear will really set it iff

In the future i will try 2 stage, i could have taken more time to perfect this car but i was in a hurry to get back down to just working on the GMC 4.8 swap.

Yea, the little i did to that hood made it work better than i have ever seen. It is one of the few i have seen without the louvers in it, i hate those. So far only one guy has stated the hood would have to go, so you cannot please everyone, LOL.

Well, i am thinking of at least 4th gen seats if i dont stick with the black buckets from my RS, and a new dash pad.
