Default Anti-lock light keeps coming on?

So on my beater truck the damn anti-lock brake light keeps coming on and I need to get the inspection done. Will they fail it because of that?

It's a 95 Silverado and the brakes work fine, I checked them out yesterday and everything looks good... pads, calipers, rotors, even the wire thing that goes to them is intact and no cuts.

Probably just the abs wheel speed sensor. Easy fix, easy to check if you have a volt meter and can find out what specs it should test out at. Not sure if it will cause it to fail inspection, you could always stop up the road from the shop and disconnect the battery and let the computer reset itself before pulling in. I cleared the codes for my !cats last week a few blocks from the shop and drove on in, they never even looked at the dash though.

I only worry because I think on this year model they have to do the sniffer test and run the truck for a little while and the light will pop back on.

I know I have had an air bag light on and they pass me. I would just ask the inspector beforehand

they wont fail you for an abs light, but they will fail you for a brake light
