why do people convert from 4 channel to 3 channel?

Nobody wakes up and decides to swap to a 3 channel rear end for the hell of it. If for some reason you get a new rear end due to an exploded 10 bolt, and for example your car is a 4 channel, and you get a great deal on a 3 channel rear.... you need to do a little work to adapt the ABS.
