1.6 rockers

I have just put a cc502 cam in my 96 lt1 I was wondering if I should up grade to the 1.6 rockers instead of stock 1.5 or how much of a difference it would make

Yea, you definitely should; easy 10-15 HP gain over stock since you increase valve lift and reduce friction....don't cheap out though. Get some good ones, you don't want to do it twice.

if you didn't, replaceing valve springs with the new cam is HIGHLY recommended.

and yes 1:6 RR will alllow the cam to perform better, more lift.
