We just finished this up last week. Joe wanted to upgrade his stock L99 with room to grow later on. So we with with a TTI Turbo kit with the upgraded PT 6265's with billet wheels. Final #'s were 601 RWHP 621 RWTQ on 10#'s.

I must have missed this back in august. Looks good, its right in line with the l99 I did. My single turbo, stock l99 made 513/569. It peaked at 7.1 psi.

deffinately makes the car fun.

Why did you guys go with the msd bap over the kenny bell?

The MSD is easier to install and a cleaner looking setup. It also is programmable. It makes it easier to control the fuel.

Are they about the same price? I would assume the msd would be higher as it has the functions that the KB doesn't.

5th Gen Newbie question: at what point do you have to worry about a boosted motor coming apart.

I just bought a 2010 LS3 2SS and it's the first Camaro I've owned since a heads and cam 99 SS back in 2002.

Since then, I've had turbo charged 98 Cobra, so I'm leaning towards a turbo setup for the Camaro, too.

I have a few running around for over a year making 700+. If the tune and fueling is right, you should be fine with 600-650 with little to no problems.

I worry a lot more about the trans....rear end....and the clutch in the manual cars. You can drop as much on getting it to survive as it did to make the power in the first place.

Over 600-650....it starts getting expensive.

Agreed

You can break parts with stock horsepower. It depends on how you drive it. I would plan on some drivetrain upgrades if you plan on taking it to the track or installing some sticky tires.
