Default No tach

Hey guys I just fired up my LS3 last night and it's throwing a code for the cam sensor plus the tach isn't working. Any thoughts on this?

Are you by chance using a cam sensor harness extension? If so, check the A & C wires. They should be crossed in the harness. They don't go from A to A and C to C. That's almost always the cure for the problem.

Texas speed told me to try that but it didn't fix the problem. Come to find out Kentucky speed put the wrong cam gear in and now I need to change it.

Any update, or have you had the chance to put the correct cam gear in?

i had you guys send it 2nd day air so it should be here about noon tomorrow, this will be my first time doing a timing gear i hope all goes well. i have never taken a crank pulley off or put on on before, any advice?
i do have a set of 3 jaw pullers but there from harbor freight, i hope they do the job, but im not sure how to get it back on without ruining the threads on the crank snout.

That puller will not work, you need a special one specifically for an ls1 car. To put the crank pulley back on you will need an air gun and old crank bolt. Use the old crank bolt to get the pulley started and then back out the old bolt and put the new crank bolt on.

Matt maybe you can help me out with this, i had adapters for my fuel injectors, EV1-EV6 if i remember correctly, well they completely fell apart the wires pulled out of atleast 6 out of the 8 i had. they were a FAST name brand so im shocked that they were poor quality. do you guys offer any kind of harness adapter for this?
