Default My IROC is back and now detailed! (pic heavy)

About 8 years ago, I sold my pride & joy, and have had dreams of getting it back. Out of the blue, a few months ago, the previous owner contacted me asking if I wanted to buy it back. As it turns out, it had been sitting up in a garage, busted up for the past 7 years.

Little by little, I've been doing things like new wheels/tires, cleaning, having someone on here getting it running, by rebuilding the rear end, installing fuel pump, fuel injectors, etc. It has been on the road for the first time these past few years! Yesterday, I had someone come over to re-paint the bumpers, take care of some light rust on the back window hoop, and FINALLY take care of this over spray junk that had been all over the car for probably 9 years now. I think the paint is fantastic for being 9 years old.

I have more work to do, like lowering it, and brakes, etc, but here are some shots of the past few days. I'm excited to have it back!!!

The paint work looks nice!

Did he do any buffing to the other painted surfaces? Looks to have some buffer trails and swirling going on.

Very nice car though, I actually like that!

Thanks! Yes he buffed the whole car. There were thousands of little yellow paint specks all over it. Not too noticeable until you are up close, but now they are gone

The front sits higher than I would like for it to, but over all, I'm really happy - it is really all starting to come together!

Well, between my TA and this, it makes me want to paint the RS pretty damn bad. A limb fell on it a few days ago and scratched the paint on the cowl hood, kind of bothered me a bit. Looking damn good, ready for a LS swap?

That'd be slick, but I have a ZZ4 & Procharger in her now, so I'm all set. I may do an intake / head swap later though! I have yet to feel the power this makes though, and am really looking forward to it once I get it tuned.

Since you already have the wing, change out the ground effects for 91-92 and it will look lower. any plans for performance? I actually miss my '92 z28
