GM - Main Street in Motion Well, I took the opportunity to go and test drive several new GM cars at their ""Main Street in Motion" venue set-up at the Reliance Stadium parking lot this past weekend. I had to drive one "regular" GM vehicle before driving the Corvette and Camaro SS.
I drove the Regal GS Turbo - meh. Not fast, transmission way too slow to respond. It was just OK. They had the Acura TSX and TL as comparison vehicles and that was a mistake!! I just drove the TSX and it blew away the Regal. Better fit, finish, acceleration, handling. etc.....The TL is even nicer and I didn't drive it!
OK, then I finally got to the Corvette. They only had Grand Sports - both coupe and convertable, but all automatics. I drove the coupe and then the 'vert. I absolutely love that car!! It just was perfect - awesome power, handling, brakes, fit.... I just need to work on the justification to the wife!!!
