I'm working on installing a 4.8 out of a Chevy Silverado 2008 into a 97 jeep wrangler

I would like to get a lot of questions figured out before starting.

first is this a ls1 gen iii?

I have read that people either install dual gauges keeping the old cluster or sending it off to get the jeep cluster to work with the Chevy. Has anyone tried using the dash harness with the bodyecu and Chevy cluster and modify the jeep dash to accept the Chevy cluster?

3rd rather than adapt the engine harness down to four wires, I was thinking of getting the under hood harness and relay distribution block and adapt behind it and keep the engine harness intact. ( thoughts?)
