What does changing the MAP have to do with installing headers?? Its just a ribbed rubber piece on the sensor.

Rather than the MAP Sensor, I believe the O.P. is referring to the A.I.R. & EGR System Gaskets that mate these systems to the Exhaust Manifolds.

Every LT installation I've been a part of we installed new Gaskets that were purchased at a Dealership. You'll need one for the EGR for the Passenger Header and two A.I.R. Gaskets (one for each header). They're really not all that expensive and are good insurance to be sure you don't have any exhaust leaks.

Good luck with your install.
