Default Flip intake manifold backwards??

Is this possible? I did a little bit of eyeballing on an engine out of the car at a friends a couple weeks ag but didnt have a chance to really dig into it to see how close it was or if the ports aligned perfectly but it sure looks possible. The bolts lined up and it appears that the ports do as well.

Anyone done this?

you can do it, you have to modify the oil pressure sender in the rear of the block

It will work as said before you have to modify the oil pressure sending unit. Mind if I ask what you are putting it in?

I smell a custom turbo or supercharger in the works.

I thought "forward facing" was to keep people from mounting them in an upward fashion? I know exactly what Kurt is up to

Then do tell! I was wondering the same thing and my use would be for a slick as heck functional cowl induction set up.

Im not much worried about the forward facing TB rule matt. But I hadnt thought about it. Oh well. LOL

You know Todd, I could have bought one of those LS1 carb intakes and put an elbow on it. LOL
