I assume you have at least a 4.00" bore short-block to run the Stage 3 heads? Also, you will have to have valve reliefs in your pistons to run that combo.

If you're running the stock LS1 short-block, the stage 2.5 LS6 heads are the ones to run, and we can set them up to clear the MS3 without valve reliefs in your pistons. So long as you are not running completely stock exhaust and intake, it will definitely make well over 400rwhp!

Street manners are somewhat relative, but many do daily drive that combo without issue. I guess I am getting old, because I find myself wanting the smaller camshafts in my car and better street manners and smoother idle characteristics every day

So yes, with the bolt-ons in place and a solid tune, it can be daily driven without issue. That 6 speed tranny helps with this as well.

you shouldnt have any problem making 400 with that combo. I made 393rwhp with the ms3 cam only with stock heads and ls6 intake and full exhaust, 6spd

What size intake would you recommend?

+1 to the 2.5 LS6 Heads/MS3 cam combo! I have Stage 1 LS6 Heads and 220/224 cam, with supporting mods and put down 408whp/378wtq.

Yes.

You are all over the board. Research your exhaust, then research your intake, etc etc..

You need to narrow you options down one by one and research each individually.

Look into exhaust.. Then intake... Then cam... Etc etc.. You will have a much more well thought out better running combo.

With the proper intake and exhaust, this combo should do 450 at the wheels in an M6 without issue.
