Default Problem adjusting Strange DA ride height.

I'm having a REALLY hard time adjusting the ride height of my shocks. I installed them with the springs perch about half way down the shock and it tucked the front tires so much I thought it would bottom. Got a spanner wrench in there, but can't seem to turn it very much with out a huge amount of effort. I've sprayed Jig-a-lube on the shocks to help grease it, but can't get it to spin any easier. I need to got the car finished up as it's my only transportation at the moment. Anyone have any ideas as to what's going on?

It sounds kind of dumb but you can compress the springs with spring compressor while the shock/spring are still installed on the car and it will make it considerably easier to adjust otherwise it is a struglle to even adjust the ride height just a little bit.

I tried that with no luck. I think I'm just going to have to pull them back off. It's so tight that the shock itself turns, but the perch doesn't. fml

Check and makes sure the adjuster threads and shock body threads aren't all boogered up. If you compress the spring you should take most of the pressure off the adjuster which should allow you to move it when turned so there is definitely something going on. Let us know what you find whe you get it pulled apart.
