Default Wolfe Travel Liliters

Anybody install wolfe travel limiters? I would like to see some pics as well. I have the kit but need to understand how to install them. They do not come with instructions.

Thanks in advance!

I got mine from SUMMIT. They are not Wolfe though. I'll post a pic.

The pics were too big so I put them back up on my web page. Check it out there. Good luck.

Tom,

Thanks for the pics! They appear to be the same thing but mine did not come with the plate with the adjustment holes. That seems to be the missing part of the puzzle.

Thanks again!

Any technical details of exactly how this works? Basically you don't want to put the back bumper on the ground, right? So these just keep the front springs from decompressing completely? You can still get enough weight transfer to hook with this setup?

Yes that is correct. Without travel limiters the front springs decompress about 5" plus before the tires leave the ground when the car is launched. I measured this one time on a lift and 5" plus comes to mind. Mine are currently set to let the springs decompress only at 3" before the tires leave the ground.

On the other end of the spectrum, you don't want to be too tight either because your car will not settle so easy if you happen to do a big wheelie.

I'm still playing with my suspension and chassie set up.

Any of the more experienced chassie guys want to comment?

Thanks
