4l60e wiring help, see diagrams!
I am in need of your assistance. I am getting DTC's P0740 and P0785. I have checked nearly everything and find some inconsistencies in my trans plug wiring.
I have compared my wiring layout to that of a known working 1999 4L60E in our plow truck.
My combination is a 2003 LQ9 with matching PCM and a 2004 4L60E from a 2WD Silverado with a 4.8.
I welcome any and all input. What trans was this arrangement set up to control?
Can I simply swap the TCC wire (now brown) from its existing position on the PCM to the non PWM position and the corresponding term on the trans plug? How about the 2-3 shift solenoid?
The note in parenthesies indicates the position in the PCM plug. G=green, B=blue and the coresponding pin#.

On an 01 truck, the TCC wire is white but doesn't connect to pin 2. It connects to C1, pin 79. On an 04 it's brown. It's a pwm convertor, so you sure don't need to connect it to a non-pwm pin. 2-3 shift solenoid for the 03 is, I believe, a yellow/black that connects to C2, pin 47.

I was able to add a table showing all of the pins, their function, and locations. I have tested each wire in the harness to verify each.
At this point I am ready to attempt repinning the TCC wire on the trans end and the 2-3 shift solenoid.

Thanks for the input. I have repinned the TCC plug on the trans end. Took the car for a ride around the block. The first shift sequence was very strange. The next few sequences seemed to get much better. No DTC's appearing.
The PCM was set up to take a 4L60E long ago, so I am reasonably confident that I am good in that respect.

I added the 2 extra circuts today. The trans now works mint!! I am getting a DTC for the PWM, but everything else is great. Just came back from a test drive, complete success. Now to find a place to try out the supercharger.

Solenoid A?
Engine light came on this week in our yukon.
Hand held said it was "shift solenoid A".
Can anyone shine some light on this as I know there are two of em but, how do I know which one is which.
Don't tell me... just change both of them right?
Still inquiring minds would like to know.

There are some how to videos on u-tube that address your question. If you know which transmission you have you can follow the wiring path through the plug on the trans to the correct solenoid.

I have the same problem I did a swap and my transmission is in limp mode now I believe it to be this I will check tomorrow. Can you explain exactly how you repinned and which one you repinned and which circuits you added and where they go. I want to make sure I do this right the first time. Another diagram would help a lot. Thank you.
