Thought you may enjoy seeing a video from Sunday @ Byron Dragway
I only got 2 runs. This was my second run. You can hear the tranny /shift issue. It needs to be strengthened anyway.
So, next week, I am scheduled for a blower swap, and will address the tranny and converter too. I noticed I rolled out of my launch a bit.
I ran a 10.26 @ 134.0 with a 1.484 60, in May this year, but made some changes and went the other way.
Next time out hope to be in the single digit club.
Also, no the track does not run downhill. :)
The optical illusion that Byron Dragway’s track is downhill (resulting primarily from the uphill shutdown area) has been the topic of discussion many times.
Google Earth:
- Starting Line: 705 ft.
- Finish Line: 705 ft.
- Entrance for Return Road: 738 ft.
- Back (bottom) of Staging Lanes: 696 ft.
