Default Good flowing heads for ls1

like the title says i'm looking for decently priced heads for my 01 SS. i was reading around and saw ls3 heads for decent and numbers for compression and what not when people were building 5.3's and other motors. can someone inform me here and push me in the right direction? because at 650ish for a pair of new heads that looks like a good upgrade

My father bought 243 castings off ebay for his ls1 gto and got them ported and polished. Major gain, bigger gain than I've seen most get. Of course if you wanna spend big money go trick flow.
