Default worth the trouble

I have been reading about this combo for a while. A buddy of mine has an 01 LS6 that he is doing a head and cam swap on. He is going to give me his 243 heads and cam. I have a 2000 C5. My current mods are LS6 intake and long tubes. I am not looking for a HP monster and would be thrilled with 375 rwhp.
With tuning will this combo meet this goal? I really wasnt planning on a cam swap but if I can get the main parts for free especially the 243 heads then the supporting parts might be worth it.

Thanks

Yeah that is the answer that everyone on every forum I have asked this gives me but yet no one has actually answered yes or no this combo will give me the goal I am looking for. 2000 LS1 C5 MN6, LS6 intake, 01 LS6 cam, 01 LS6 heads, TSP long tubes, dyno tuned, greater or less than 375 rwhp.

I don't think you will hit 375 with a 01' ls6 cam. You might with a newer ls6 cam but I still doubt it.

Dont waste the time with the ls6 cam. save your money up and shell out a few for a decent smaller cam and you will be over that 375hp at the tire goal. 243 heads and a 226/230 cam has my bird at 400 to the tire
