Cut Frame 1st Gen S10 Clearance Issues! I started my 86' S10 5.3 conversion about three years ago and cut the frame into two seperate sections and boxed it in now trying to decide what is going to be the best material to reconnect with anyone have any suggestions? I know I should have bought the H3 pan!!!

Go over to s10forum.com and go to the lsx swap section. Theres a ton of pictures and advice that will help you out big time. Most people from what I have seen just use plating to plate the frame notch since they only did a c notch out of theirs. One guy actually cut the entire craddle out and and reattached the two sides with Id guess it was a 3 inch solid tubbing.
