The Monster stage 3 or 4 will hold a lot of power and have proven to be very good in reliability and customer support

I have had my share of clutches. I also recommend that you talk with Thomas at Hendrix-Engineering. Thomas has a great line of single disk clutches and a new twin disk that I recently test drove and was amazed.

My Spec 3 was pretty easy on the street and held up pretty well.

The clutch surfaces are different on the different clutches. Stage 1 & 2 are full surface disks and Stage 3 are puck style. Obviously the clamping forces of the pressure plate goes up too. The full surface offer a smoother engagement but the puck style gives a more aggressive clamp. You might be fine with the stage 2 for road course racing but if you plan to launch from a dig like drag racing the stage 3 would probably be better and hold up longer. The HP ratings are a little confusing but going to a higher HP rated one isn't unusual depending on use.

The Level 2 will be fine for your power level as our clutches are rated at the rear wheels. I'd choose the flywheel based on what kind of racing do you intend on doing. Let me know if I can be of any assistance. Chris, 817-750-2000
