Default Help with y pipe

I've had this d@mn thing adjusted by 2 different pros and myself. TSP ory with pacesetters and random tech catback. Won't seat correctly, now its tapping the bottom of the car....suggestions please....irritating as hell!

where is it tapping at? I pipe or over axle or the Y pipe it self? engine mounts might help.

It sounds like or feels like its tapping right underneath the drivers seat. And the end that mates to the i pipe has moved about a qtr inch.

Get some poly motor mounts and see if that fixes it. This is a common problem and motor mounts usually fixes it. Some headers also bank on the K-member so make sure there is clearance from header to K-member (generally drivers side).

that^ mine does the same thing only under heavy throttle. but those engine mounts are a pita to swap! get new ones. can you post some pics? may be its hitting your drive shaft. id reinstall the whole thing again.

Motor mounts aren't that bad of a job if you have the headers out. With them in it's a complete bitch, no room at all.

yea thats what i never changed them after LTs install..

might just need to do some die grinding on the k member if you have the clearance to do so,i installed poly mount on mine and they still hit on passenger side.
but that was an easy fix as well.
