Default Newbie LS1 question...
Hi there...

I just bought an old project rig that currently has a ZZ4 crate motor in it. Will an LS1 swap in using the same bell housing pattern and motor mounts? Thanks in advance...

I would think not since the ZZ4 is a SBC if I'm not mistaken.

Ya the ZZ4 is a gen 1 sbc, you'll need adapter plates to bolt in a LS1 in it's place. The bellhousing will bolt up, minus one hole IIRC. Works fine like that. The search feature is your freind.
