Non-synthetic plus additive is what I've been told is the only combination that should be run with an Eaton. It's what I've been running in mine for the better part of the past 4 years or so.
MeentSS02 hit it on the head but I would suggest using Fords friction modifier.
I've been told this as well, but am still unsure why...I'm assuming it just has better properties than the GM friction modifier, but I still don't really know why it is preferred.
